aboutt2About the director:

Dr. Nancy is the founder and director of Tool Kit Ministries Inc and has over 25 years experience in church education, children’s ministries and neighborhood outreach.  She is a teaching trainer and motivator who emphasizes team building and unity among God’s people.  Nancy holds degrees in management, accounting and religious education.

The goal of TKM is to provide tools and ideas to encourage Christians to reach out through serving in their local churches, reaching and teaching others for Christ and to encourage believers to “Walk in wisdom, toward them that are without, redeeming the time.” Colossians 4:5.

“As a new believer at the age of 33, I was discouraged and convinced that I could never be used of God because of my background.  Through one-day workshops presented by an enthusiastic missionary I began to experience leadership helps that encouraged me to be willing to be serve and grow in Christ.  This same principle is incorporated in TKM leadership workshops.  These take the form of convention workshops and in-church one-day or half day seminars.”

Always in Christ,       Dr. Nancy B. Shields

Doctrinal Statement:
All instruction based on the foundational belief that:

  • The Bible is the Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16)
  • God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are three in one. (Matthew 28:19)
  • The literal virgin birth, sinless life, bodily resurrection and the second coming of Jesus Christ is true. (l Corinthians 15:1-4,51-54
  • Jesus Christ willingly took on the sins of all mankind to provide the only way for mankind to receive eternal life, which is available those who put their faith and trust in His finished work alone. (John 14:6) (l Peter 2:24)
  • Eternal salvation is a gift from God freely available to those who choose to believe and receive it. (Ephesians 2:8-9) (Romans 10:9-13)
  • It is important for the local church to reach individuals with the Gospel of Christ and train them up in the Bible to grow, serve and reach others. (Matthew 28:19&20)
